What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
Sky & Season (“we”) runs the website at skyandseason.com. We are based in Singapore and handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Questions and requests go to hello@skyandseason.com.
What we collect
- Birth details — birth date, birth time (or that it is unknown), birth city and sex at birth. These are needed to calculate a chart.
- Account details — your email address, and if you sign in with Google or Facebook, the basic profile those services share (name, email, profile picture).
- Saved people — birth details for other people you add to your account, which you are responsible for having permission to store.
- Usage — page views and product events (for example that a chart was viewed) through privacy-friendly analytics that set no cookies. Birth details are never included in analytics.
- Payment — handled by our payment provider; we store only the subscription status, never card numbers.
The free chart runs in your browser
When you use the free chart, the calculation happens on your own device. Nothing you type is sent to our servers or stored unless you choose Save my chart or create an account.
Why we use it
- To calculate and show your charts, daily readings and answers.
- To keep you signed in and remember your saved charts.
- To generate readings with an AI model — we send the calculated chart facts to the model, not your name or email.
- To bill subscriptions and prevent abuse of usage limits.
- To email you your chart and daily reading, only if you asked for it and ticked the consent box.
Where it is stored
Account and chart data is stored with our hosting and database providers (currently Vercel and Supabase), which may store data outside Singapore. We choose providers with appropriate safeguards, as the PDPA requires for transfers.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your profile, saved people and readings within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your choices and rights
- Access or correct your details at any time from your account page.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for deletion, by emailing hello@skyandseason.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Withdraw consent to emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Children
The service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the date above and, for account holders, email you.
